car stalled and wont start...
i was driving my dads 91 accord ( 260,000 miles... love the honda reliability ) today just cause i like to drive somthing differnt every once in a while. on my way home the called stalled out for no apparent reason. i ended up being able to coast to the curb of a small street so the car isnt in anyones way. i cannot start the car now... the battery isnt dead and it has low, but enough oil, and plenty of fuel. i checked the resavour of the antifreeze/coolant, and it was virtually empty. i then got my friend to take me to giant, bought some new antifreeze/coolant and refilled the resavour halfway between max and min. try and start the car, and it still wont start... anyone have any ideas of what it could be? my dads on a buisness trip right now so cant ask him about the previous maitnence and stuff... any help would be appreciated. thanks.
If its stick you can most likely get it started the getto way by putting the car in second gear with the clutch held all the way down then having a couple of people push it and get it moving, then let up on the clutch real fast and it should start. If it dose start put the cluch in right away and rev the engine to keep it going. It works with bikes and with older cars I have no idea if it will work on that car. P.S. if you try it tell the guys pushing to be carfull when you let up the clutch cuz the car with jerk and it'll hurt if they are still pushing) Hope it works out man.
