go with the 18's, spend the extra cash and you will be thanking yourself, get silver rims by the way.

This has been covered before, but if you're looking for show, go with the 18's, in whatever color matches the color scheme you're going for with YOUR car. If you want GO, then I'd advise either some 17's or some really light 18's (the lightest 18's I've seen are 19 pounds, and streettrendz (I hope I spelled that right) is selling them for a good price with good tires).

Whatever floats your boat, it's what you like. I have 17's on mine and I like the way the car handles. I tried 18's but didn't like how it handled. Felt slower for some reason, but that's my take on it.

17" but I just want more cushion and more tire to protect my rims but if you live in a nice area with good roads and it doesn't rain a whole lot with potholes then go 18 for more show.

Well what color car do you have? Mine is red and I have 17" gold wheels; people always tell me they look sick on my car......anyways get something different that not many people have. Silver, white and even gunmetal are getting really played out, bronze or gold look good IMO. Or you could always get black because it looks fast. Just my $0.02

I like 17s that are light weight. Here's why:

Just my opinion. And for the silver I would go silver then gun metal.

definately 17's.. i dont like the 18's i've seen on our cars.. also, they weigh a ton.. you'll get more out of your tires w/ 17's as well..

if you want rims that have a lip on them, get them in 18. 17's with a lip look like there 16's. you should be fine with 17's if they don't have a lip.

It depends entirely on the style of the wheel. Some 18's look silly they are so big while others look perfect. The same goes with 17's, some styles look tiny while others look big. The best way to decide on a style and size is to actually see pictures of it installed on a 7th gen Civic.

As far as silver wheels being played out, not hardly. Silver will always be the standard when it comes to wheels. What will eventually go away like a passing fad are the other colors.

Just my opinion.

Streettrendz has a set of 18" silver rims that weigh only 19 pounds each. They'd be the perfect balance between style and function. If you like a 5 star rim, then I'd suggest those. You can PM him if you're interested. He'll give you a good price.

I personally have looked at maybe all of the rims available for our cars. I've also seen many 7th gen civics will all sorts of rims. I think that 18's are the nicest when the rims are recessed. If you get 18's that are not recessed then they end up looking too big IMO. 17's are best if they're not recessed. Something that goes right up to the edge of the tire. Recessed 17's end up looking a little small, but aren't that bad. 16's look best when they're only meant for racing. Something like Rota's, or some other light weight rims. Looks come second on these type of rims.
