Catalytic Converter

I need a need cat for 2000 Civic, the old one has rusted through the flange. Is there a particular brand of aftermarket cats you would recommend? Thanks.

Re: Catalytic Converter

any cat from parts store would do, I guess?
keep to known brand names
or choose the one in mid range price if multiple. They expensive, so better to not jump on lowest price.

Re: Catalytic Converter

I'm in Ohio and currently I do not have to get the car tested where I live. Would there be any issues just straight piping it back from the manifold?

Don't. There's zero benefit and you'll loose acceleration.
