CKP sensor problem on a Civic 2003 EX Error p0336
Hello everyone.... I´m having a problem with my 2003 EX 1.7 Honda Civic. At mornings everything was fine, the car worked good. I used to drive the car for about 30 min to the gym and after 1 hour off, I turned it on again and after a few minutes it stalled and wouldn´t turn back on but after 1-2 hours. When I cranked it for a few seconds I got a code error p0335... so I decided to replace the CKP sensor,...but now with the new CKP sensor already installed, the car just doesnt start, just cranks and I got a new code error..but this thime its the p0336. Please anyone has any idea why Im having a different code with the new sensor?? thanks in advance

Yeah, the D17 is especially finicky when it comes to sensors, and the parts you get at autozone (or similar) can have a high chance of failure.
Furthermore, I can tell you from experience that the CKP sensor is somewhat.. fragile, for a lack of better words? I dropped a working sensor from like 6 inches and it landed on a folded microfiber towel. Gave me a P0335 after that. Replaced it with a new Honda OEM sensor and was good to go after that. Never had any issues removing/re-installing after that, as long as I treated it like it'd break if I sneezed too hard.
