LED Lighting For Outside of Car

Hi, so I bought some LED lights for u see the hood of my 2020 Honda civic and I opened up the fuse box and everything I’ve tried has constant power to it. Anyone know what fuse I should or can use for my LED lighting so it turns on and off with the car? I’ve tried the IG Coil and FR Fog Light

thanks!

Under-dash fuse box will probably have fuses that are only on with ignition.

Re: LED Lighting For Outside of Car

So, relevant question. Do you want to have those lights turn on whenever the car is on, and stay on if the car is on? Or do you only want them on when any external light is turned on (and possibly with the ability to turn them on/off with a switch)?

Re: LED Lighting For Outside of Car

When do you want the hood strip to be on?

Always when you're at least in ACC mode?
Always when the parking lights are on (and by default the headlights, as well)?
Always when the headlights are on (but not parking lots)?
In addition to any of the above, do you want the ability to turn them off and on at will?
Do you want them to be turned on and off at will no matter what?
