Hi Guys,

My Dad went out to start his 09 civic (automatic), car would not start no crank, nothing happens. Lights and dash are good chime beeps but car wont start. Then he tried to take out the key and the key will not come out.
You can turn the key but will not come out, car is in park, even inserted the spare key in the slot and shifted down to neutral and back to park and tried again did not work.
the only way I was able to take out the key is by removing the battery terminal.
Car has a new battery, new alternator and new starter.

Can anyone please help!!!

Actually no it does not show the gear light on dash.

I would suspect the transmission position sensor could be faulty.
