Can I use a 01 transmission in my 04 civic
Can I use a transmission originally from a Canadian 01 Honda Civic LX in my US 04 Honda Civic dx? The speed sensors plug-ins look different and I just want to double check. TIA for any help!

01-02 auto trans are regarded as weak, so I wouldn't. Standard trans you'd be ok.
personally I would look for 04-05 trans. Grab an ex trans if you can, they have better gearing.
