2001 civic vtec wiring does not come apart and I don't want to break anything

Kind of urgent guys
I went to youtube to see how to replace vtec gaskets and thought I could do it it is not quite as easy as in the video like most of them ,BUT I can not get the sensor wire harness to the lower part of the valve dis connected . I had trouble with the top one but got it disconnected . I need to get it disconnected to have room replace the gaskets. Any trick to getting it apart.I dont want to ruin it I will clean it with electrical cleaner to remove the oil and dirt from the leak never struggled with this type of thing before
Thanks for any advise

I got them apart they were dirty and I used electrical contact cleaner . I hope the sensors did not get damaged . I was as careful as I could be with the short *** length of wire it has for the harnesses and the oil leaked on them it was difficult to un snap them . What codes would I get if I damaged anything ?..Thanks. This is not an easy job not super difficult but the lack of hand space and missing info on youtube made it more difficult Than I thought it would be.
