Starter removal

Alrighty! Hey guys, I've been trying for nearly two days here to remove the starter. I've removed the two bolts, and was expecting it drop immediately... it didnt.
I removed the clips, and battery connector under the rubber housing, even the metal piece with two 10mm and a 12mm that could potentially get in the way of removing.
Main issue... she's not budging no matter how hard i pull/push/tap with a hammer, and I'll try nearly anything before I call for a tow 5 blocks away to a shop.
SO CLOSE, I appreciate the read, and any responses yall may have for me.
Thanka again, take care guys

Bolts from starter, and bracket on manifold.

Re: Starter removal

Looks like you got everything undone correctly. There are only two bolts holding the starter, you have them both out.

It must just be really corroded in there?

Re: Starter removal

Give it some good smacks with a mallet, or a 2*4 and a hammer if you can't get the mallet in there
