New to the forum. My daughter has a 2011 Civic with a 1.8l engine. Engine lost oil pressure. In the process of tearing the engine down to see how bad it was, I came upon the attached pieces sitting in the valley in the head under the rocker arm assembly. Can anybody tell me where it is supposed to be.
Question though.. Did you find that there after or during teardown? Or was it lying there before you started tearing it apart? A lot less of an issue if it's the former.
