Dangerous rear suspension problem, please help
Dangerous rear suspension problem, please help
This is my first post, I've been reading for a while though. So I got into an accident a few months ago in my 04 civic sedan and I ended up losing a discontinued konig rim forever and needing to replace my entire hub+wheel bearing+strut+ball joint to get the car driving again but I've had a noise from the rear since but I sadly ignored it because I've needed my car. I actually got under and looked one day and my rear control arm bolt actually ripped through the middle "subframe"(???) Section where the bolt goes and is creaking/moving. I know I realized this late and it needs to be fixed and I'm confident in my abilities, but it doesnt look like that piece is removable from the car, which worries me. Can somebody please let me know if I could just replace the piece, or if I'll have to repair the current one to the best of my abilities and get the bolt back where it belongs. [IT WILL NOT LET ME ATTACH THE PICTURE I HAVE FROM MY PHONE GALLERY] If needed, I can send it through something else.

You need to take it to a professional body shop and have them look at it. It may be repairable, it may be a write off
