Post Rear Bushing Problem

Hey guys, so i got 3 of my 4 neuspeed sport springs in not a problem, but my last problem was my rear drivers side strut tower - lca bolt. I brought it to get the bolt cut after i had tried a bunch of different solutions. Now, they want to charge me $300+ just for a new bushing, because the bolt fused to the one i have now. Is this in and around the right price range? If so...how do not get raped for this bushing? Thanks

good question, if you got time you may be able to save bux. i had to replace my 98 rear bushing cause it froze on to the bolt too, they became one. i bought the bushing and cut the old one out using my grinder, then slammed it out the rest of the way with a hammer. its easy. but getting the new one in was trickier, cause i didnt want to bung it up. so i lubed it up, sanded it a bit so it could fit better since i was using hand tools to install, then placed a large socket over the bushing and tapped, then smacked it in with the old 5lb sledge. you got to be carefull if you try this.

i bet i will be doing the same thing when i replace my rears on the 2001 civic. dam, its kinda a tough job and took me a few hours. although when i first discovered that i f'up the bushing, we drove around with it like that for months before i had time to replace it and put the new shocks in.

The rear bushings aren't easy. I am not sure which one you are talking about, but one of them has to be burned out.
