Re: Ktuner and the D17
Working on intake swap, running 880cc injectors. Still working on porting. Opened up exhaust substantially. Still working on thicker plastic intake gaskets and having a custom gring done on the cam, also cleaning and polishing all valves.

After he does a dyno run and makes a pass on the track. I will show you what he did. You won't believe me if I told you. We gonna show you. We have several cars out here putting out some power. We just not that big on the social media.
Re: Ktuner and the D17
side note, thicker oil does not mean more protection it’s the quality of oil you buy full synthetic has the same amount of protection no matter what rating full synthetic being the best oil
Re: Ktuner and the D17
Been down this road already my friend, the turbo cooks the oil like you would never believe. This 1.7 engine does not have the highest oil psi from the factory. So adding the turbo just adds to a poor oiling system and then we cook it through the turbo. Thats why most people fail on this setup.

Re: Ktuner and the D17
What does your setup look like and what kind of oil are you running? I'm building a block and plan on running the same oil. Have too much time and money invested to risk damaging the block.
