2018 Civic LX CVT - How to turn of OD?

I'm coming over from a 2013 Sentra SV CVT. On the Sentra, you turn off the CVT with a switch on the shifter; I can't find a specific reference to turning off the OD in the Civic manuals. The manual states that you can use Sport mode on steep hills, is this the same as turning off OD?

If you can down shift in sport mode manually then yes that would give you the advantage that turning off OD would give.

The older Honda's you could shift down into D3,2 and 1 but I remember my parents old CRV having that button on the end of the PRNDL stalk.

I found the relevant section in the OM. It works just like the Sentra except you shift down 1 to "S". Works great. Thanks all
