Question about part name in engine bay

Hi,

What is the name of this AC hose?

The radiator fan came out loose when my mechanic replaced the radiator. The radiator fan kept hitting the AC hose putting a hole in the side of the hose (marked in red on the attached) thus leaking all of my freon gas out into the atmosphere.

Here is the link to the OEM parts diagram.

I think its #2 the suction pipe. Just not 100% sure.

Thanks a lot guys!

Re: Question about part name in engine bay

That's the suction side in your pic..

It would seem your mechanic OWES you this repair at zero cost to yourself, as it's damage caused by the previous work.
