wheel lock

I was driving the other day and hit a small bump and my rear left wheel locked. Now every time I hit a bump the wheel locks but returns to normal after a second. It's a 95 civic ex with coilovers, I need to know what it is I was thinking the struts but I'm not sure.

Re: wheel lock

A strut should not cause tire to lock up unless the tire somehow makes contact with it or other suspension or body.....and there probably would be black rub marks if it did..but I can't see what's happening there.

I'd probably think about brakes causing lock up.

Re: wheel lock

I inspected the hub area, I wouldn't even be able to tell if there were tire marks because the car is completely black under there. I took the brake apart and it's fine. There is a knock when I push down on that side even if I push lightly. It's the kinda noise you get from popping a dent in the body. There Are Ground control coil overs On Stock SUSPENSION. Just bought the car. It only locks on bumps, and the coil overs are set to the lowest possible setting.
