1993 Civic D16Z6 Head Gasket Changed, still leaking
1993 Civic D16Z6 Head Gasket Changed, still leaking
So I changed the Head gasket on my 1993 civic with the 1.6litre but I am still getting coolant in the oil
I re torqued the head bolts to a few pounds more than specified but still no better
.The head was machined but not the block
I have 2 question s
I used the original Head Bolts seems like people say don't reuse them. Would gasket not seal well if I used the same bolts again?
is there any other place in the engine that would allow coolant to get into the engine oil? Maybe another gasket I failed to change?
Anyone have any suggestions? I am at a loss...any suggestionswould be appreciated

Is the oil looking like a chocolate milkshake when you pull the dipstick....of do you just see yellow foam in the oil cap? How quick is this happening? How much antifreeze has been lost?
Did you clean out all the liquid out of the head bolt holes before you bolted it down?
Was the head inspected for cracks?
Poor cleanup job, left traces of the old gasket on the block?
