94 civic lx sedan upgrading

hi guys, im fairly new and i wanted to turn my car into a project car. dont know much so i was hoping to learn here. engine says its 16 valve, has air intake headers, strut bar, and hid lights already installed. i guess the owner gave up but i was see how far i can get. car currently has 137k on it, body looks fine. after market exhaust tip, rims, tires are new. what i want to do is to tinker with this car to learn but i also want to upgrade what i have, so.. i was wondering what else should i do, i want to go fater lol. make look nice etc :P where should i start first, interior, engine, handling, exterior? etc

What's more important? Speed? Handling? Looking good? Budget?

Best bang for the buck IMO is handling. I like corners though!

Re: 94 civic lx sedan upgrading

Lots of speed: Turbo or engine swap.

Not to much speed: Stage 1 or 2 cams, port and polish head.

Extra pep in the step: intake, headers and exhaust.
