Can someone please help me identify this noise my car is making. I have 09 civic ex manual transmission. The noise kinda goes away as the car gets warmer. My suspect was a motor mount. I already changed the passanger side one, which is kind of where the noise is coming from.

I listened to both, I had no idea what they are supposed to show. Sounded to me like an average car driving along, for the most part.

I'm listening on a crummy laptop though, not surround sound or anything.

Provide more details - noise. Accelerating, braking, corning, at a specific RPM or MPH, what does the noise sound like? Noise problems are a B I can relate I am still dealing with mine, after extensive investigation. See my posts.

HI, did you figure it out what causing that noise? I also have 2010 civic ex-l manual, and also having noise to my car. My first hint is also engine mount but I am not sure. most of the time it only happen when in 1st, 2nd or 3rd gear sometime in 4th gear too. I will explain as much clearer I can. When I shift in 1st gear, press the gas pedal for like 2 second or so and let go the gas pedal, that is the time I can hear the sound like engine brake more like bass from sound system. the same thing in 2nd gear and 3rd gear. Hopefully someone can help me to diagnose this problem.

Have a friend put a bright light on the engine, especially around the motor mounts. Put the trans in Drive with your foot on the brake and give it some gas. If the motor mounts are bad you should hear some noise or even see the engine flexing upward on the side of the broken motor mount. The friend should stand to the side for safety reasons . Also look for cracks in the rubber part of the motor mounts or signs that the mounts are lose where they mount to the body.

But the noise goes away once the car has really warmed up. Takes about an hour of just idling.

i didn't hear much either in the videos hard to tell... motor mounts are
a good suspect to check as mentioned. if there not.? its going to be hard
to find the problem You might have to waite a little longer before the
problem gets worse to pinpoint it easyer.
