2001 Overheating

I have replaced the thermostat, temperature sensor, radiator, radiator cap, water pump, and timing belt. My fans are coming on, and I don't have a blown head gasket..... What else could be going on? why is this damn thing still overheating!?!?! (its not the gage either) oh, and I have done the pressure system test. I have replaced the spark plugs, but 1 and 4 wouldn't come out. Getting something to try and get them out today. I DID NOT flush the system yet, which I'm also going to try today.. But was hoping someone on here could give me some more ideas as to what to try as well....

Re: 2001 Overheating

How bad is the overheat? Mine will run about 97C at its absolute hottest (fan is definitely on), but the gauge is still below half way.

^This.

I know on other imports, it's possible to install the t-stat the wrong way...

Where did you get the new parts from?

Re: 2001 Overheating

What symptom do you notice that makes you say it's overheating?

Steam? Smoke? Burning smell? Temp gauge high? Antifreeze belching on the ground?
Fire?

I'll guess.......It's not mixing fluids and it's got good compression? Because that's definitive proof of a good head gasket.
