Unhappy Removal of AC compressor

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a thread on this forum for removing ac compressors on 8th generation Hondas. I've been searching and haven't found a DIY thread for this. I'm trying to get a closer look at my AC Clutch because a piece of it fell off while driving and i need to get a better look at what is missing.

Any helpful comments are appreciated. Thanks

Re: Removal of AC compressor

4 bolts hold it to the engine, but it's a whole lot more work to actually get it out of the car.
I can usually change the clutch/pulley/coil without taking the lines off of it.

I'd go under with a flashlight and see what I can without unbolting it first.
Did it just shuck off the clutch plate and nut, or did it break off the end of the compressor shaft?

Re: Removal of AC compressor

I suspect I am having the same issue with my AC clutch compressor. VERY interested in doing this DIY. Pretty handy with the mechanical stuff. Not familiar with this car though.
