93 Civic randomly dies

93 Civic CX
Manual trans

So I bought this civic the other day. It was running fine and still is, But today I was driving down the road and the car randomly shut off. I tried starting the car up again and it was only turning over. Cranked it a few times and it finally started and drove again like normal for the next few hours. Then it happened again so I turned it over a few times and nothing. I found out I could only start it without pushing the clutch in.

Still my question is why the car is even dying randomly in the first place. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Too many possibilities to guess. You need to narrow some stuff down.

Figure out if it loses spark, or if it loses fuel, or if it acts like the key was shut off (dash warning lights stay dark) when it dies.
