Service Bulletins?

I have a 2005 Civic 4 door. If I find a service bulletin for something faulty on my car, does that mean that Honda is liable for fixing it or are the service bulletins just informationial use for your own fix? Thanks!

Re: Service Bulletins?

You should consider any service bulletin to be for information purposes only, unless otherwise stated.

Most bulletins will specifically state how it affects warranty, such as "the normal warranty applies" meaning 3/36 in most cases.

Warranty extensions and recalls are a different matter.

Read the bulletins carefully.
