1999 civic transmission problems

Hi I'm new to the forum and I have 3 civics, a 89, 99, and a 07 ..my 99 is having some transmission problems and I was wondering if I could take the 89's tranny Out And Put It In The 99? Thanks

Since you left out a boatload of handy information (Manual? Auto?) in the first post, I guessed no.

You need an interchange manual like a recycler yard would use.(Hollander)

Then that's a definite no.

Try the site I posted earlier for a used unit, if your local recycler doesn't have it.

There are other options if you want a reman unit.
