05 EX SE antifreeze/coolant leak - solution provided in link
05 EX SE antifreeze/coolant leak - solution provided in link
I did a high level search to look for duplicate posts but didn't see anything that followed my issue. If you know of one please post the link.
My issue is that I replaced the thermostat and water pump because my heat would not work when the vehicle was idle. Now that these have been changed out, I am now seeing that i have a slow coolant leak. A tech friend told me it would most likely be the gasket(o-ring) around the water pump, but I found that the overflow reservoir lid was no put on correctly. I corrected this which helped but this morning my heat was barely working while the vehicle was moving (low coolant?). I went to check the level of coolant, which when i started to remove the radiator cap, the coolant started shooting out of the overflow at the cap. I am also only seeing coolant spray remnants near the overflow area and cannot really see anything on the belts that are near the water pump.
Any ideas?

Thank you for this information. However, your link was posting double in the address bar. Here is a working link https://www.civicforums.com/forums/3...reference.html. I will mark this as fixed.
