battery replacement procedure
My new-to-me 2006 needs a new battery. Any issues with just taking out the old one & putting in the new? I assume I'll loose the radio presets if I just disconnect the battery. Anything else to expect? Can I hook up a trickle charger during the operation to save the settings?
Re: battery replacement procedure
There aren't that many settings, just write them down on some paper before hand?
I'm not even sure if they reset or not, I just replaced my battery and I don't remember having to change anything...
In fact, i have disconnected my battery dozens of times while installing different components of my sound system, and I never remember the radio pre-sets changing back.
But I'm not 100% sure.

"Anything else to expect?"
Your radio to display CODE due to anti theft, you will need those numbers also.
Take you time and clean up the battery tray and area, a lot of debris gets down there.
