Month my car was manufactured/ brake disc size?

Ok so i just got a new Honda Civic EJ9.
I need to know what size brake discs/rotors i need or the month of manufacture of my car to know which ones to buy as the man in my local store said there are two sizes for 1999 EJ9's depending on the month of manufacture.
I tried measuring the discs but their coming in at less than 20mm, i know the two sizes are around 24 and 26, so i'm guessing i need the 24mm discs?
I also tried the honda tech VIN decoder that was posted in a recent thread but it wouldn't work for me.

the month of manufacture of my car
Look on the door jamb stickers.

Upper right corner as you read it, like this one says 11/02

Original brake disc thickness was 20.9-21.8mm according to my info here. EX is different from the rest. Diameters might be different? IDK.

Forgot to mention i've double checked both door jambs already, Only info on them is paint colours and tyre pressure info.

Checked the drivers door jamb, and on the door itself? The sticker SHOULD be there if nobody ripped it out or painted over it. Maybe right below the paint code sticker IIRC.

You in Canada eh?
If nothing else, try using a Canadian parts catalog, enter your VIN into it and see if it can tell you something more about the car. http://torontohondaparts.com/OrderParts.aspx

Can you have a dealer over there run a VIN report to get the vehicle build information?

---

How about if you just remove a brake rotor and carry it into your parts store and match it up?

Or get all the choices form the parts store, then return whichever parts you don't need?

Im going to bring the VIN number in to a parts store tomorrow or the next day.
I'l bring the rotor too, although its really rusted so i doubt it will do much for comparison measurement wise.
Thanks for the input and help
