97 honda civic engine problem
Hey guys i have a problem my car will start perfect but when idle and i rev it a bit it gives off alot of smoke and i smell burned rubber from the engine. Tried driving it and it starts off good but when its shifting gears all of a sudden the engine starts giving small jolts like its not wanting to go a couple of times real fast. Then the car just will not want to move the engine revs when i push the gas but the car will not move. All the time this is happening im seeing white smoke from my exhaust. Car is not heating up not losing coolant i turn the car off and on a couple of times then it starts to drive again. Im lost would appreciate some help thanks
Re: 97 honda civic engine problem
White smoke indicates burning coolant. That could mean that you have a bad head gasket. The car not wanting to move sounds like a transmission problem. When is the last time you services the transmission?
