high mileage oil type and air bag light on
high mileage oil type and air bag light on
Hi, 2 questions please. I have an '06 ex coupe. Bought it 6 months ago.
Has 175000 miles. Have put in the normal 5-20 so far. With the high miles, what heavier weights can I use without hurting it. 10-30? 10-40? Should I use "high mileage" oils?
"Passenger air bag off" light is lit quite often. Will go on and off. What is making it do this. Is the bag supposed to be on sometines and not others.
Thank you

Look for 5W20 with all of these ratings:
ILSAC: GF-5,
ACEA: A1/B1
API: SN (or higher)

Put that crap on the floor.
Not kidding.
I know some of the cars will trip that light just from having a bag of McDonalds sitting there.
My own car turns that light on when my laptop is sitting in it.
