Hello,
Searched for a thread re.the "GREEN KEY" dashlight indicater--but couldnt find one.
Was driving normally and noticed the dashlight indicater FLASHING.It is an image of a "green key".The car starts and runs properly but it is annoying to see it flashing.
Checked the manual and says its an "Immobilizer Light".
Has anyone had this dashlight flashing problem???
What does it indicate? and what was your solution?

usually indicates that there is a connection problem with the chip in your key and the vehicles immobilizer unit.

Do you have a remote starter installed??

Thanks, but no remote starter.Also, i switched to the other black MAIN key and light still comes on.It sometimes comes on after driving for 5-10 min and then it will go off--so it is intermitent.
I have read that a weak battery can sometimes cause this--but mine seems ok.
Have u had this dashlight trouble also?
