ac compressor clutch problems
ac compressor clutch problems
I have a 01 civic and my compressor clutch fell off along with the bolt holding it on. After ordering the bolt from honda I put a new clutch on with the shims and put the bolt on. Turned the car on and AC works great. Problem is I don't have the correct tools so I did my best and put the screw on. I called a mechanic and asked if they could torque it down for me and they said with those if you can hand screw it on and then just tighten it a little bit more than you are good.
Is he right or do I need it torqued down cause I don't want my clutch to fall off again.
Thanks
