2002 civic- ac stopped working after alternator was replaced by dealer
My ac stopped working after the alternator was replaced. I got the alternator replaced by a honda dealership.
We've checked if it needs refrigerant, that didn't work.
Checked the fuses, they are all working fine.
Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you!!!

Re: 2002 civic- ac stopped working after alternator was replaced by dealer
The AC compressor is located right under the alt. If the mechanic was careless and fumbled the heavy alt onto the compressor, that might explain why the A/C quit. Hope they don't try to say it wasn't working prior to the alt job, and start up a new tab. But it's hard to imagine a dealer doing anything like that
