2005 LX odd smell
2005 LX odd smell
I have a 2005 Civic LX-SE with a D17a1. I live in a rather hilly area in South Dakota and my car has to downshift often to get up a lot of the steeper climbs. When it does this on quicker roads, I get a hairspray smell that lingers for a while. Anyone know what this could be from and what I could check?

Clutch and/or brakes.
This will get expensive in a hurry if you don't learn how to drive right (if it hasn't already been hurt).
