P0730 on newly bought civic
I picked this 02 civic EX sedan up. Has 110k no history on it. Its has a CEL for P0730 gear ratio fault.
It has a trans issue for sure. The car starts up and everything. I think 2nd gear is gone on this auto trans. I dont have had too many issues leaving a stop sign its just when it shifts into 2nd its just not there. When the car is cold it doesn't act up as much but it does when it warm.
The fluid is medium brown, doesn't look burnt. Judging by what i read its just better to get a new trans rather then throw 100$ worth of ATF on this bad trans i rather put it towards the new trans.
Or do you guys think the ATF has a likely chance to fix this.
Also are the belts due at 110k?
