A girl who knows how to turn a wrench
Just thought I'd make an official intro
Not going to say I'm a pro at em2's, but I'm not an amateur to vehicle work. Hopefully I can finally decide on what K motor I'm going to swap out down the road. Should be a fun build/swap!

Well... EXCUSE US! Lol. I still don't think that mustang could ever win a drift race against a 350, it just isn't that kind of car.

Keiichi Tsuchiya, more commonly know as Drift King, described the 350z as more of an American style muscle car than a real Japanese car because of it's poor handling. While the Mustang has received quite a bit of acclaim for it's excellent handling.

Huh... I never knew of the mustang to have decent handling. I test drove the 2010 mustang and I thought the handling was kind of funky. Then again, I didn't drift it lol. I just know that muscle cars are good at one main thing, straight shot speed. That's why I have a civic lol.

Re: A girl who knows how to turn a wrench
LOL!
Welcome, Roxie, now i see yeh won these guys!
A normal mustang handles like crap - drove one rental and it was simply... understeering like a pig... (surprise, surprise...)
a better prepared mustang does wonders, though, but they need to swap a lot of parts to get it fast and handle good.
A 350Z is not bad, they get good times in the autoX, which is not easy for high power cars lacking handling. However, all the guys that are not good drivers... when they turn the traction control off, they come back to the grid crying... LOL!
Roxie, consider looking for suspension first and foremost. rear sways from RSX (best, cheapest and easiest), etc. then consider a stage 1 crower cam, they do wonders and are a drop-in (yer a canadian Si, right?) no need for diff ecu, stock works well and gets round 25WHP

I do have some sort of upgraded suspension, but don't know exactly what I have. I'm going to swap it out later on though since they're pretty new (last owner put them on a month before I bought it). New cam, I'll consider it. Yes it's the Canadian Si (aka american EX). All depends on the cost, and maybe I'll so some n/a work. Not really wanting to put too much in my D series block since I will swap it out later.
