2002 Civic Lx Multiple electrical problems, are they related?
OK so I just bought a 2002 Honda Civic LX Coupe and it has several problems. 1) A/c doesn't blow cold air, 2) If I'm out in the country away from the city and I hit the rear defrost button my radio gets static, but if I'm in the city (closer to the radio stations) and i hit the rear defrost button no static. 3) Door locks don't work on either side. If i hit the switch to unlock or lock nothing happens, no sounds and no movement in either door lock. Also the driver side lock can only be locked with the key in the ignition, then I'm able to push the door lock down from the inside with the door closed. If key is NOT in the ignition and i try to lock the driver side the button is really stiff and will not go down. So I have to lock the door from the outside with the key if i go to the store.
I've checked all fuses and relays and their not blown.
I have a multimeter and the power probe 3, what can i do?
What should i check and what voltage am i looking for?
Never worked on a honda before.
Any help would be appreciated and thank you for you time.

1) Get the AC checked by a professional since it seems you can't evaluate it yourself. (Note that someone I consider to be a professional is probably not what most others would think a professional is.)
2) You have a bad line in the defrost grid. At least one line will not heat up, and should be obvious which line on a foggy morning. Find the scratch in that line and repair it, you can get defroster repair kit at a parts store.
Or an antenna amplifier that isn't working.
3) Power locks need diagnosed properly. I would start with a wiring diagram and some careful evaluation.
The drivers door latch is designed so you can't lock the door while it is open, until you pull on a handle. THEN you can lock it.
Read the owners manual. Page 80-81 covers this.
It is so you have to make several mistakes in a row before you lock your keys in the car.
That's like me saying "I bought a circular saw! Someone tell me how to build a house!"
Get a wiring diagram. Study and learn.
AND learn how and when to use a test light.
