Hub Rings

Whoopppyyyy....I got my 17" Konig Verdict in Black Opal the other day and the guy I bought the rims from included a set of Hub Rings. He said that it will make the wobbling disappear from the new rims. Any opinions on these?

I read an article in Import Racer and they installed a set of 17 in rims on a 6th Gen. They used hub rings for whatever reason and they were supposed to help with the balance on that type of rim. I will look at the article tonight and get back with you....

You need to use the hub rings to have your aftermarket wheels centred properly. The reason is that most aftermarket wheels are lug centric, and it's hard to get it aligned properly like that without hub rings. I went through the same mess.

your OEM tires are sitting on a ring that protrudes a little with the tire off. Most aftermarket rims do not sit on that ring and all te wieght will be supported on the lugnuts(not relly good) The ring they give you fill the space between your OEM ring and the larger one on the rim..(most cars mounting ring is larger than 4 bolt honda setups, so rim molds are made with those designs in mind.
