Hey guys, just wondering if any of you have diagrams of all the mounts of the motor and trans for a 2004 Civic EX 4 door with a 5-speed MT. I been driving around with a broken front mount for a while, so it's likely the others are starting to go too. If that's that case, I wanna know where I gotta look to inspect and replace other mounts for the engine and trans if necessary. Any helpful hits, tips, or suggestions are appreciated. I don't have a diagram or pictures of all the mounts handy, although it's theoretically possible that you could find one on majestic Honda.

The side mounts aren't prone to failure, to my knowledge. One is very clearly visible next to the ABS module of the drivers side, the other is in a similar, but lower position on the passenger side. Innovative makes an aftermarket, upgraded mount kit that includes both sides if you want to replace them with something more rigid than stock.

The front mount is easy to see, it's directly under the exhaust manifold. The rear mount is above the exhaust midpipe, it's tight enough to it that you shouldn't have much trouble missing it if you have a look under the car. Energy suspension makes solid replacement inserts that will never fail for the front and rear, I have them and like them, but at idle the car does have a slight vibration. The innovative kit includes a rear mount, but not the front. If you check the DIY forum, you'll also see a write-up on an inexpensive improvised alternative to inserts using a two part mix, you should be able to get that stuff locally and save on shipping if you're open to the extra work.

innovative mounts are junk, member got them and they wouldnt even fit on the car. energy front mount inserts are the best bet because its really the only weak mount of the four. the other 3 are usually fine. 1, 2, 4, 9
