How high mileage is too high?
How high mileage is too high?
For a Honda that's been taken care of?
I keep finding Honda Civcs in my small town, and they're quite nice. Especially this one Honda that has 180,000 miles.
Does it depend on what year? I suppose if a car that's made in year 2009 and has 70,000 is really bad....
The particular car I want is a 1997, which averages 13,000 a year. That sounds good. But I want a car that'll last at least... 5-10 years. What are your thoughts/opinions on the matter?

Re: How high mileague is too high?
You want a 97 civic, which means you're being dirt cheap relative to the average car shopper. Don't expect it to last 5-10 years without spending at least that amount or more on maintenance.
120k is my upper limit for mileage when purchasing winter beaters. These little civics are great for flipping a profit in the spring.
