Trimming headlight reflctor

I read a thread a long time ago that described this, but I can't find it. I tried searching. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. It's about cutting the reflector in half.

Why on earth do u wanna trim it reflector?

But since you have a 2001 you need the whole reflector if u want to have both high and low beam

Re: Trimming headlight reflctor

Sorry for the bad post. I meant the amber reflector for the turn signal. I don't want it at all, but want to be legal. I guess you two guys have never seen that post I'm talking about? Thanks anyway

edit Found an example of what I'm talking about.

Re: Trimming headlight reflctor

The amber insert is really easy to take out. Search for "clearing headlights" or even browse the 7thgen DIY section.

Asfor cutting it, you'd just have to measure and carefully cut it, then prolly some high grit sand paper to "polish up" the cut edge

Re: Trimming headlight reflctor

I didn't want to chance messing up the reflector, so I left it alone.
I did the lights gunmetal instead of black.
