Very srange problem with manual trans. 01 EX
Very srange problem with manual trans. 01 EX
While driving to the store earlier today I noticed when I was shifting that the shifter went father forward into 1st, 3rd,and 5th and not nearly as far back as it should into 2nd , 4th and reverse. However there were no strange noises the effort in changing gears was the same and all gears held with no problems, I was messing around with the shifter in the parking lot and I pulled into 2nd slowly but firmly hear a loud "klang" noise and now the shifter is where it should be after shifts and seems to be working fine. Can anyone please explain whats happened? Its working fine now but im just a tad concerned about this.btw no leaking fluids and everything looks to be in its proper place.
Re: Very srange problem with manual trans. 01 EX
If anyone has any thoughts it would be really helpful as I havnt been able to find any similar cases. It was almost like the trans was 2 inches father foward than it should have been 2nd and 4th were where neutral is supposed to be.
