New here, new civic coupe

I spent all day looking at various Hondas, and finally decided to go ahead and buy my first new car. Now I'm the proud owner of a red 2012 civic coupe. The trip home from the dealer is about 90% highway, and the mileage gauge in the dash says I got 44 mpg.

I almost bought a used 2010 civi sedan, I'm sure glad I waited and got this ...

I like the 9th gen styling much more than 8th, how do you like the car overall so far?

Re: New here, new civic coupe

I've driven it a whopping 25 miles so far, but so far I love it. I wanted the most mpg I could get without going to a hybrid (which I haven't bought into yet) and since I won't buy anything but a Honda or Toyota, my choices were few. The Civic coupe is (to my eye anyway) a much better looking car than anything else in it's class, and when I saw the red one, my mind was made up.

I really like the info on the "heads up display", I suspect we'll see a lot of other companies copying this feature soon.

EDIT: Up to 150 miles after today's driving, and showing 42 mpg on the onboard system.
