I was stupid enough to put my 94 del sol in a warehouse without draining the fluids and its been sitting there for 5 years without getting started. It did start when i put it back in the warehouse. Unfortunatly i didnt have a key to the place and asked if i could go back there to run it but was given exuses and stuff like tomarrow and never happend for 2 months, of course by then it wouldnt start and with buying a new car didnt have the money at the time to fix it.
StupidNoob seems to fit seeing what i did.

Trying to think of everything i would need to do to get it started again.

Things ive thought of:
Drain all fluids and flush out with fresh fluids. Replace fuel and oil filters and put fresh fluids in it and new battery.

Is it possible to get it started with just this?
What else would i need to do knowing it wouldnt be worth it?

Yeah. That sounds about right. If you can locate the valve on the fuel rail, you can bypass the fuel pump, hook up a tube and drain as much of the old gas out into a suitable container. I'd do that before changing the fuel filter though.

People park cars in barns and 20 years later come back and the car runs fine with a bit of maintenance, you didn't ruin your car by any means.

Change the fuel, fuel filter, oil, oil filter, spark plugs, air filter and it should start up fine,. Do a couple engine flushes to remove any gunk that has built up as the fuel and oil degrades inside the engine. Consider dropping the oil pan and gas tank to clean them out before even starting the car if you feel ambitious.

me personally i would just take the plugs out put a little bit of gas in the cylinders and i mean LITTLE bit!! fire it up get it home or whatever... change oil and filter ASAP put some stabil in the fuel and drive it then when tank is empty fill it up with fresh gas and presto!

Check your injectors too.. they don't like sitting for long periods of time.

Try some seafoam in the gas tank, that'll take care of any fuel problems pretty well.
