upper ball joint install help needed
I removed the old ball joint with no issues and got ready to press the new one in, however as i was looking at it before the install i realized i failed to inspect the old one how it was positioned in the UCA. the upper ball joint seems to have a oval type pivoting mount when looking at it with out the boot. I have no clue if it needs to rotated in a certain direction or do i just drop the thing in and press with out any further thought? its just plain ball joint, not the adjustable one.
there are no directions (moog) in the box to specify certain install direction. the honda service manual also has no clarification. I'm starting to wish i spent the extra 20 for the entire uca just for piece of mind.
