Re: Late Model 95 civic DX????

If you're asking what model year the car is, the tag inside the door frame will tell you what year the car is. Also, the door handles from the 95 to the 96 changed from a horizontal pull type latch to a vertical lift type handle.
If the car says it's a 95, it's a 95 (late model or not), if it says it's a 96, then it's a 96. Your friend may be misinformed as to what the car is, but the car itself won't lead you astray.

Re: Late Model 95 civic DX????

The generations changed between '95 and '96 so, you should be able to tell the difference just by simply looking at the car. If there are any questions use google image search to get pics of a 5th gen and a 6th gen, print 'em out, take 'em out to the car to compare.

Hmm... I hit Vtec today and I'm pretty sure I went back in time again... I hate it when that happens.
