Heater Question
Heater Question
I just had the timing belt and two other belts replaced as well as the water pump. I tried turning the heater on this morning and it isn't generating heat. It was working beforehand. Is it possible that something got plugged in the wrong way or didn't get plugged in? I'm not getting a check engine light. The car didn't seem to overheat and I drove it today.

Re: Heater Question
You didn't properly bleed the coolant system. You cant just fill it and start driving it. You need to jack up the front of the car, open the rad cap (while its still cool), run the car with the heater on full heat and power. Fill the rad up as the level lowers. You also need to fill the overflow. When the level isn't dropping much any more leave your rad cap off overnight (with the car off .. duh), fill the level up when you wake up in the morning and put your rad cap back on. You shouldnt have any more issues after that.
If it isn't that ... we can look into other things that may have gone wrong

Re: Heater Question
I took it in to the same place I had the water pump replaced and apparently it was a pinched wire under the dash. Thanks for the advice. I did tell the guys at the shop what you said.
