Hey guys,

I have yet another problem. This time it's my gas gauge.
My gas gauge is acting really weird. It will say how much gas I have for a few minutes and then say that I have no gas at all. Then sometimes it will say I have very little gas when I know that I have about a half tank left. What on earth could this be? I could be driving somewhere and it will show me how much gas I have, the next second it could drop and say I have nothing, and on that same trip to wherever, it could come back on and say that I have gas again.

Had a problem with the gas gauge on my sister's 2001. It would say there was a little gas left and then you would run out of gas. Happened a bunch of times

I called honda on this a couple weeks ago. 2001 (not sure about other years) has a faulty gas gauge. there is a TSB on it I think. Of course you're probably out of warranty so Honda won't do anything about it. The repair is to replace the gauge cluster.

Yeah i had the same problem in my 03 for about the first three years, but one day it just stopped and has worked normal ever since. Who knows? Gremlins maybe?

Well... If it is gremlins.... Maybe I should just spray my car with a lot of water.... those things die that way right? Lol

and I just called honda service and they said it could be the fuel sending unit... Sound like a possiblility or what?
