is this worth trying to trade out?

ok so a friend of mine is giving me a 90-91 civic wago aka shuttle. Body is absolutely prestine on it. full interior full body no motor. still has the trans (4wd trans) with no shaft. He is also throwing in a turn key b18a1 full motor all accessories. Well as of recently my good ole ed6 took a dump on me, and its currently in the shop getting a full rewire. What i wanted to know i guess is an opinion as to whether or not i could trade this shuttle and swap out for something driveable (i got a job and bills to worry about). Any opinions on whether this is possible? I know wago's are sought out in the honda world just didnt know what kind of street value this one is holding.

Re: is this worth trying to trade out?

In my experience if your seriously into Honda's, not casually, but really serious then you love wagovans and would jump on your chance to buy one at the first opportunity. Thats my experience with all my Honda buddies at least. If your not a die hard Honda fan, like my gf, then you think wagovans are funny looking and wouldn't drive one if someone gave it to you.

That being considered, I'd say it's probably worth about the same or a little less than a comparable condition CRX. It will probably take some time to sell though.

Re: is this worth trying to trade out?

im just tryin to get it gone with the swap with it for a da, crx ef...etc a daily. dont care if its a sedan hatch whatever. Id love to keep it for myself! awd throw a fully built zc in it and what not, but i have a job and a family to worry about these days. Gotta get a daily now and keep my ed6 as a project presumably. Im basiclly just asking for personal opinions as to whether the possibility of a full shuttle roller with no motor and a ls swap is capable of fetching me such. The honda scene here is rediculous i know 3 ppl that would buy it off me right now but the prob with that is that they would never give me what its worth lol.
