Best thing to do when your broke is experiment with LED mods, because those are cheap and if they break then you still have control of your car lol
A good ebay junk parts rule would be not to buy anything that is necessary for the car to function properly. A strut bar, projector headlights, foglights, sure, because your car will still run without them. A short shifter, exhaust, turbo kit, no, because they can actually destroy your drive train or cause you to loose control of the car.

Re: $10 ebay shifter??..
i gave in and decided to try one of the ebay short throws on my old ls crx, and i never had any problems at all. I LOVED how short the throw was but it didn't massively shorten the **** height so i could still reach it easily. I threw in poly shift bushings at the same time as well. Just a thought, they're only like 15 bucks if i remember right for prothanes.

Ive used this kit before, the ****, boot and shifter itself....currently have the shifter on mine now from the previe puttin it in. The linkage comes loose alot now since its been installed, and sometimes its hella hard to select gears with it. The ***** aside from chrome suck the paint comes off on your hand alot of the time, and the boots have to slightly fabbed to fit properly and not look haggard.
