Ahhhhhrrrrrggggg!!!

I'm so mad at myself right now. Yesterday I was being a good guy and was going to my friends house to hook up her new stereo. She has a really tight garage down here off of an alley, so as I was pulling in I didn't take the corner hard enough and "SCcccCCccRRr" grinded my front bumper against her stucco wall. Took some paint right off and left some good scratches in my bumper. It's not gonna buff out and I'm not going to get my bumper repainted for such a dumb thing, so now I'm stuck with a F-ed up bumper for god knows how long. It's not too bad, but I'm so damn **** about keeping my car dent& scratch free, it almost made it a full year without a single paint flaw. I was thinking of using some rubbing compound to get the gargare paint out of my bumper, then some touch up paint to try to cover the damage, as much as possible. I'm gonna do a search for the best way to fix this, but any other suggestions?

Well here's a pic. Better Mohawkboom?

the bumper itself is quite cheap, around $100, but once painted it's kinda pricey.

The bumper would sand out fine and be perfect, but it 's the painting that I can't pay for.

An OEM bumper only costs that much? It's hard to believe.

he only needs the plastic bumper cover, not the actual metal bumper.

I gave up dealin with bumpers I don tknow how you guys with ground effects deal with it.... I have a scrape in front I painted over with touch up kit (not even close to actual color) an a huge one in the back from you stupid people from out of sate with your front licence plates.. tore a good 5 inches off my back down to the black (car is silver ).. I'm touchin it up now.. now way in hell I'd pay to get it repainted cause I know it will jus get scrapped agin in the city by someone who cant parralle park

I had to touch up my front bumper too. Got it right from the dealer but it looks more purple than the Eternal Blue Pearl its supposed to be. Bleh.

Well I can't rememeber the exact price but the front bumper is like $230 or so. The rear one is $202 unpainted.
